Based in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, I photograph weddings across South Wales, Bristol, the South West, the Midlands and throughout the UK. My job is to capture the real moments, genuine laughter, and honest emotion as your day unfolds naturally - without forcing you into endless awkward poses or dragging you away from your guests for hours.

My Approach

1. Unobtrusive & Candid

Most of the day, you won't even notice me. I document the spontaneous, unscripted moments—the nervous laughs before the aisle, the tears during speeches, and the chaos on the dance floor.

2. Gentle Direction

When it comes to couple portraits, we keep it completely relaxed. A short walk away from the crowd, a bit of space to breathe, and simple, natural direction so you both feel comfortable and look like you.

3. Authentic Colour & Style

I keep my editing natural, with true-to-life colours, clean skin tones and enough contrast to give the photographs some depth. I want them to still look good years from now rather than being tied too heavily to whatever editing trend happens to be popular today.

  • That's completely fine, and honestly very common. My approach is relaxed and natural, so I won't have you standing around in awkward poses for ages. I'll give you simple direction when needed, then let you get back to enjoying your day.

  • Yes. I mainly focus on candid, natural moments, but we'll still make time for the important family and group photographs you want. We'll agree the key ones beforehand so they can be done efficiently without taking over your day.

  • I don't work to a fixed image count because every wedding is different. The number will depend on the length of your coverage and what happens on the day, but you'll receive a fully edited gallery containing the strongest photographs that tell the story of your wedding.

  • Your finished gallery will usually be delivered within 3-4 weeks. If this changes during particularly busy periods, I'll always let you know in advance.

  • Once you've decided you'd like to book, your date is secured once the booking fee has been paid and the booking details are confirmed. I'll then arrange a pre-wedding chat closer to the day so we can go through your plans, timings and any photographs that are especially important to you.
